Aryaka Networks‘ channel program expansion is continuing with a new partnership with technology services distributor TBI.

TBI has signed Aryaka to its supplier portfolio in a deal that will allow TBI agents to sell the secure network services provider’s offering. Craig Patterson, Aryaka’s channel chief and senior vice president of global channels, said his team looks forward to selling with TBI’s “extensive network” of sales partners.

“TBI is familiar with the ins and outs of Aryaka’s suite of SD-WAN and SASE solutions and can assist our joint customers in technical network environments, giving them an additional layer of resources and support to call upon during our engagement,” Patterson said. “TBI’s long history of strong partner relationships will enable us to expand our global reach and create new opportunities for their selling partners.”

TBI’s Scott Whalen

Scott Whalen, TBI senior vice president of strategic partnerships, described Aryaka as at the “forefront of converged networking and security.”

“They offer our selling partners a high-growth solution that will enable them to replace legacy networking technologies with cloud-based services to support globally distributed hybrid work environments,” Whalen said.

Aryaka, which is known for offering its own private network backbone, has deepened its cybersecurity capabilities in the last two years. It now offers what it calls unified secure access service edge (SASE). Dell’Oro Group considers Aryaka, Cato Networks, Versa Networks and VMware the four unified SASE providers. That means those vendors fully converge advanced networking and cybersecurity features onto the same cloud-based platform, rather than running them in separate silos.

Aryaka Channel

San Mateo, California-based Aryaka has developed multiple routes for selling through channel partners in 2022. In January the company updated its partner program to better accommodate margin-based reseller partners. Aryaka in the spring teamed up with the B2B marketplace provider AppSmart. Last month the cloud services brokerage and value-added distributor Jenne announced a partnership with Aryaka.

TBI Portfolio Growth

TBI describes itself as North America’s largest privately held technology services distributor. The 31-year-old company operates out of Chicago.

TBI has expanded its supplier portfolio in multiple categories this fall. Most recently it added customer and employee experience solutions provider ANDX, cybersecurity provider Ntirety and Windstream SMB unit Kinetic Business. Other vendor additions include Commerce.AI and Pilot.
