TELARUS PARTNER XCHANGE — Comcast Business took home recognition as Telarus’ best overall supplier Thursday night.

The cable provider has been a fixture in the master agent’s awards in recent years, winning the same recognition last year.

CenturyLink, which didn’t win any awards with Telarus last year, surged to top supplier in overall sales. The service provider was also the best performing supplier of colocation.

Telarus hosted the largest awards banquet it has ever done at its annual partner event, due mainly to its merger with CarrierSales. The combined company recognized vendor partners as well as sales partners. DCi and PPT Solutions were awarded partner of the year recognition.

Telarus’ Roger Blohm

Telarus Executive Vice President Roger Blohm said supplier partners helped fuel a 38 percent sales increase in 2017.

“It is a huge honor for us to publicly recognize the hard work of people who go above and beyond for Telarus and our partners,” Blohm said. “Their willingness to work with us in the field to recruit new partners, to support our events, to allow us to colocate our monitoring hardware in their data centers to provide transparency to the cloud, to keep our pricing and fiber tools up-to-date; it all blends into the recipe of a healthy channel selling community. ”

Telarus on Wednesday unveiled a new tool for partners to help customers pick vendors. The company also addressed the trends it sees in the channel.
