New York MSP Pushes Into Connecticut
Pragmatix, Inc., a managed IT services provider in New York, has opened a Stamford, Conn., location. The move reinforces Pragmatix’s growing focus on the financial services vertical. And from where I sit, an MSP taking on more office space is a good sign for the overall managed services market.
“The expansion into Connecticut was a strategic decision,” said Bill Abram, president of Pragmatix, in a prepared statement. “Many of our clients are in the financial services industry, so Stamford was the clear choice.”
Founded in 1992, Pragmatix services include secure managed hosting, cloud services, remote managed services and support, custom applications and software development, according to the company’s press release. The company works closely with IBM and Microsoft.
I realize one MSP does not represent the overall managed services market. But it’s good to see an MSP committing to more office space. Such a move shows a long-term strategic business commitment, and confidence in monthly cash flow.
