Cloud-based voice and data communications provider NetFortris yesterday unveiled new services for mid-sized, multi-location enterprises.

NetFortris, previously known as Telekenex, is offering a Cloud Communications Platform (CCP) that manages application and network resources.

“The NetFortris CCP is a powerful platform upon which organizations can grow their business,” NetFortris CEO Grant Evans said in a prepared statement. “We’ve built a world-class support infrastructure, giving companies the support they need as they build their IT infrastructure on the NetFortris platform.”

All of NetFortris’ services can be managed through a “single pane of glass” administration console that is designed to help IT professionals become more efficient, the company said.

NetFortris serves over 800 customers in the United States and offers hosted managed IT solutions to financial services firms, healthcare providers and retailers, among others.

Private equity firm Spire Capital Partners has invested in NetFortris, and this cloud services provider (CSP) is searching for ways to expand its offerings as well.

“We plan to aggressively expand the IT services, data/voice services and security solutions … to better provide our customers and new customers with broader solution sets and new services,” Evans said in a prepared statement.

Evans added he believes his company could grow quickly, thanks in part to the positive responses it has already received from its customers.

“The early response from customers indicates that the company is poised for growth, and I look forward to working with our customers and delivering the products and services they require,” he said.
