mindshift_logomindSHIFT, which landed atop our third-annual MSPmentor 100 survey, appears to be considering another acquisition. A potential deal could be announced by mid-year. mindSHIFT CEO Paul Chisholm shares some clues about where the company is heading in this FastChat video with MSPmentor…

Within the video, Chisholm describes how mindSHIFT successfully profited from server virtualization, and is now moving into the virtual desktop market. But that’s not all. When I asked Chisholm about consolidation in the managed services industry and potential M&A activity, he disclosed that mindSHIFT is considering a potential acquisition that could come together by mid-2010.

Chisholm concedes a lot of companies were looking to sell in 2009. “We could have bought a lot of companies, but a lot were pretty much in trouble,” Chisholm says. But Chisholm says there are good M&A opportunities in the market right now. He explains why in this FastChat video:
