Value-added distributor (VAD) Exclusive Networks Group today announced it has acquired ITEC Intelligent Services, a Wokingham, England-based white-label managed service provider (MSP). Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Exclusive said the ITEC acquisition extends its reach into more than 90 countries, including the United States, and could prove to be the company’s first step into the managed services market.

“We see the ITEC acquisition as a great segue into managed services and a strong foundation on which to further build out our offering in due course,” Exclusive Chief Operating Officer Barrie Desmond told MSPmentor.

Exclusive also noted ITEC complements its Passport professional and technical services.

“This is a big boost for our diverse value-added services proposition and to our continuing geographic expansion into new territories,” Exclusive CEO Olivier Breittmayer said in a prepared statement. “It means even richer services for all our partners to benefit from and the ability to manage more global deals end-to-end from project deployment and delivery to 24/7 support and on-site break/fix.”

ITEC offers data center, networking and security technology support and currently has technical support centers in Florida, Singapore and Malaysia, in addition to its UK headquarters.

The while-label MSP’s customers include:

  • AT&T

  • Avaya

  • Cisco Systems

  • Hewlett-Packard

  • Microsoft

Desmond said he expects ITEC to help Exclusive accelerate its growth plans and potentially enter the managed services market too.

“We’re actively analyzing, researching and validating the market opportunity and channel proposition for a managed services offering to the channel. We will be making further announcements on this in the new year,” he said.
