Xiolink CEO Brad Pittenger says his company's "customers will now benefit from multi-city disaster recovery services throughout the region."

Cosentry is acquiring managed hosting and colocation provider Xiolink to expand its data center presence in the St. Louis area. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Cosentry said the acquisition provides a “more robust set of managed hosting infrastructure and managed services capabilities that complement the existing Cosentry colocation, cloud and help desk services.”

Cosentry CEO Brad Hokamp said in a statement that Xiolink “is a critical expansion market for our business.

“With this acquisition, Cosentry is well positioned to become the leading provider of IT infrastructure services in the Midwest,” he said.

Cosentry plans to now operate in four Midwest markets with eight data centers. These markets include Omaha, Kansas City, St. Louis and Sioux Falls.

Xiolink CEO Brad Pittenger said in a prepared statement that his company’s customers will now benefit from multi-city disaster recovery services throughout the region.

“We will integrate seamlessly into Cosentry and be the platform for the managed services operations of the new company,” he said.

The two co-founders of Xiolink, Brad Pittenger and Mike Palmer, will continue to work for Cosentry through the successful integration of the companies. Mike Palmer will be joining the Cosentry Board of Directors after completing the integration.

Cosentry and RiverMeadow Software joined forces back in October 2013, where Cosentry agreed to offer the RiverMeadow automated server migration platform through its Cloud Services program.
