Continuum Navigate to Proceed as Scheduled Hours After Las Vegas Massacre
Hours after the biggest mass shooting in U.S. history left at least 59 people dead on the Las Vegas strip, Continuum officials this morning sent out an email from CEO Michael George, offering condolences and confirming that the company’s annual user conference will begin today as scheduled.
Continuum Navigate 2017 is scheduled to run today through Thursday at the Cosmopolitan hotel and casino, located a mile and a half north of where the massacre occurred.

Following is the full statement:
Partners,
By now most of you have heard there was a tragic shooting in Las Vegas just a few hotels away from where our Navigate Conference is host to nearly 700 people.
This was an unspeakable act and words cannot express the sorrow we all feel for those who were lost, robbed of their hopes and dreams, and of their futures. Our heavy hearts go out to their families and loved ones at this incredibly sad time.
We conducted a digital roll-call last night until all Continuum members checked in or had been spoken for. Fortunately, we can confirm that everyone on the Continuum team is safe, and we’d like to extend any help and support we can to your organization in light of Sunday’s events.
Thank you all for your prayers and well wishes on behalf of those who were lost and all those impacted by this event. We want all of our partners to know that you should not feel obligated to attend any events that may have previously been scheduled and that you should only attend those which you feel comfortable in doing so.
While I am saddened by these tragedies here and in the world today, I am also in awe of the true side of humankind. There were untold numbers of first responders running into harm’s way to help save others.
Complete strangers helping one another take shelter, get help for the wounded, and usher people into safety. And this morning, countless others lining up to give blood. It is this brighter side of us all we know will endure and lift the human spirit. For this, we are all truly blessed.
And endure we will – as we came to this great city to help our Partners do good work. You provide an important service to the small business community and create employment opportunities for thousands of people who provide for their families. We will not be daunted or dissuaded by these immoral acts against mankind and will move forward as planned.
As for our place in this world, one word – peace.
Michael George
Continuum CEO
Additionally, Continuum Navigate organizers said they’re prepared to help those who have decided not to attend. “We understand that some of our attending partners may wish to change their plans, and want to assure them that they should not feel obligated to attend in light of Sunday’s events,” the statement said. “If they do wish to change or cancel their plans at Navigate, they can contact Mary Crogan at [email protected].”
