Knowlarity Communications Secures $16M From Mayfield, Sequoia Capital. Knowlarity Communications has secured $16 million in a Series B funding round from investors Mayfield and Sequoia Capital. The cloud telephony services provider plans to use the funding for research and development and to expand globally.

Thinknum Closes $1M Funding for Cloud-based Financial Analysis Platform. New York City-based Thinknum on Monday said it has closed a $1 million seed round led by Pejman Mar Ventures, with participation by Signature Capital, Green Visor Capital, 645 Angels, HKB Capital and 500 Startups. The cloud-based financial analysis solutions provider startup said its platform has thousands of users using it, including financial services firms such as Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley and Bridgewater.

Skykick Secures $3M in Financing to Support Channel. SkyKick this week said it has raised $3 million in “strategic capital” to help deploy more of its Microsoft Office 365 migration solutions to its customers and channel partners.

Bright Computing Secures $14.5M Series B Funding. Bright Computing said it closed a new $14.5 million financing round to invest more funds in its team, expand the company’s product line and extend its ability to serve customers.

Michael Dell Invests in Cloud Video Surveillance. MSD Capital has made a multi-million dollar capital investment in Eagle Eye Networks, an Austin, Texas-based cloud surveillance security company. How will the funds be used? Find out here.

SJC Cloud Specialist Raises $3.5M. GenieDB Inc. has raised $3.5 million. The San Juan Capistrano start-up has raised about $9.1 million to date.

OpenERP Becomes Odoo, Raises $10M in Funding. Odoo, formerly OpenERP, recently went through a change of name, and the company has also raised $10 million in funding to push its open source cloud marketing. Additionally, the company also plans to soon release version 8 of its suite of cloud-based business services.

Intigua Secures $10 Million in Series B Funding Round Led by Intel Capital. Intigua has closed a $10 million Series B round led by new investor Intel Capital, with participation from existing investors Bessemer Venture Partners and Cedar Fund.
