Emarsys, the B2C Marketing Cloud, Receives $33M Series A Investment From Vector Capital. Business-to-consumer (B2C) marketing cloud provider Emarsys has secured $33 million in Series A funding from Vector Capital. Emarsys noted that the funding will be used to expand internationally and invest in product innovation.  

Communications-as-a-Service (CaaS) Provider Agora Receives $20 Million in Series B Funding. Communications-as-a-service (CaaS) provider Agora has raised $20 million in a Series B funding round. Morningside Ventures, SIG, GGV Capital, ShunWei Capital and IDG Capital Partners participated in the funding round. Agora said it will use the funds to bolster its global infrastructure. 

WebAction Raises Additional $20 Million in Series B-1 Funding. WebAction has added $20 million in a Series B-1 funding round led by Intel Capital. The funding round also included participation from Summit Partners, Panorama Point Partners and other investors. WebAction offers an end-to-end streaming data integration and streaming analytics platform, and the company said it will use the new funds to expand its reach and accelerate its sales. 

Datos IO Emerges From Stealth and Raises $15.25 Million in Funding to Deliver Industry-First Recovery Platform for Scale-Out and Cloud Databases. Datos IO has received $2.75 million in oversubscribed seed funding and $12.5 million in oversubscribed Series A funding from Lightspeed Venture Partners, True Ventures and several angel investors. The recovery solutions provider said the funding will be used to build out its engineering and sales departments. 

Iron.io Raises $8M Series A to Cement Its Position as Event-Driven Compute Platform for Enterprise Software. Iron.io has raised $8 million in a Series A funding round led by Baseline Ventures, with participation from Bain Capital Ventures, Divergent Ventures, Ignition Partners and Cloud Capital Partners. The event-driven computing solutions provider said it will use the funding to onboard new customers and add to its team.
