Announcing Our $35M Series C Funding. Switch has secured $35 million in Series C funding led by Amasia Capital. Felicis Ventures, SoftBank, Work-Bench, Google Ventures and Andreessen Horowitz also participated in the funding round. Switch said it will use the Series C funds to expand its cloud-based phone system.

Coho Data Raises $30 Million In Series C Funding Led By March Capital Partners. Coho Data has closed $30 million in Series C funding, bringing its total funding to nearly $67 million. March Capital Partners led the funding round, with additional participation from Hewlett Packard Ventures, Andreessen Horowitz, Intel Capital and Ignition Partners. Coho Data, which provides flash-tuned scale-out storage architecture for private clouds, said the Series C funds will allow it to extend its reach into new markets and enhance its product portfolio.

Fuze Acquires Team Collaboration Platform LiveMinutes; Raises $20M From Hermes Growth Partners. Cloud-based video conferencing services provider Fuze has raised $20 million in funding from Hermes Growth Partners. In addition, Fuze has acquired LiveMinutes, an online team workspace platform. Fuze said it plans to “expand its platform to include a persistent project workspace for distributed teams to stay connected, create and share content, meet together live and maintain context across the lifecycle of a project.”

Samanage Raises $16 Million In New Funding To Support Accelerated Growth. Samanage has secured $16 million in Series B funding. The funding round was led by Marker LLC and Vintage Investment Partners, with participation from existing shareholders Carmel Ventures, Gemini Israel Ventures and Silicon Valley Bank. Samanage, which provides a cloud-based IT service desk and asset management platform, pointed out that it will use the Series B funds to scale its engineering and customer service teams.

DataHero Raises $6.1M For Self-Service Cloud BI. Cloud-based business intelligence (BI) provider DataHero has added $6.1 million in Series A funding. Existing investor Foundry Group led the funding round. DataHero noted that the Series A funding will allow it bolster its core technology and scale its operations and support infrastructure.
