HyTrust Raises $33 Million to Cement Leadership Position in Cloud Security. Cloud security automation company HyTrust has added $33 million in new funding, including $8 million in venture debt and credit facilities. Accelerate-IT Ventures led the funding round, along with participation from existing venture investors EPIC Ventures, Granite Ventures and Trident Capital, strategic investors Cisco Systems (CSCO), Fortinet (FTNT), Intel (INTC) and VMware (VMW) and new investor Vanedge Capital. HyTrust pointed out that the funding will be used to support its product development, accelerate its sales and marketing efforts and help the company expand internationally.
Aryaka Closes $16M in Funding. WAN-as-a-service provider Aryaka has received $16 million in funding led by Nexus Venture Partners. Existing investors Trinity Ventures, InterWest Partners, Mohr Davidow Ventures and Presidio Ventures also participated in the funding round. Aryaka noted that it will use the funding to scale its global sales infrastructure and ensure its services allow customers “to achieve faster, more secure, more stable and lower-cost global access to cloud data and services.”
Quartet Health Closes $7M Series A Financing Led By Oak HC/FT. New York-based technology company Quartet Health has secured $7 million in new funding led by Oak HC/FT with participation from Shulman Ventures, Fidelity Biosciences, Polaris Partners and several current and former industry CEOs who are serving as advisors to the company. Quartet Health said it plans to use the funding to expand its product offering and add healthcare operators, technologists and behavioral health professionals to its team. This company offers a cloud-based platform designed to provide greater access to behavioral healthcare resources.

GoFormz Announces $3 Million in Series A Funding From Cloud Apps Capital Partners and FLOODGATE; Unveils Breakthrough Mobile-first Business Productivity Solution. Mobile enterprise application provider GoFormz has raised $3 million in Series A funding from Cloud Apps Capital Partners and FLOODGATE. In addition, Matt Holleran, a general partner at Cloud Apps Capital Partners, will join GoFormz’s board of directors. Holleran noted that GoFormz provides a “cloud and mobile-first application,” and the company plans to use the Series A funding to bolster its product development, marketing and sales efforts.
“Internet of Me” Company KeepTrax Launches and Picks Up $1 Mln Seed. Dallas-based mobile technology company KeepTrax has raised $1 million in seed funding led by Naya Ventures. KeepTrax also has released mobile apps for iPhone and Android devices. The company’s mobile location data platform enables end users to automatically record, retain and recall all the places they have visited and store this information in the cloud.
