Adaptive Cloud Security Platform Provider Raises $100M. Illumio has closed a $100 million Series C funding round, bringing the adaptive cloud security platform provider’s total funding to more than $142 million over the past 27 months. “
Docker Secures $95M in Series D Funding to Meet the Unrivaled Demand for Its Open Source Platform. Docker has raised $95 million in Series D funding that it will use to “enable deeper integration with go-to-market partners.” Insight Venture Partners led the funding round, with new contributions from Coatue, Goldman Sachs and Northern Trust. Existing investors Benchmark, Greylock Partners, Sequoia Capital, Trinity Ventures and AME Cloud Ventures also participated in the round.
Vlocity Raises $42.8 Million in Funding Led by Salesforce Ventures With Participation From Accenture. Vlocity, a cloud company that specializes in vertical applications, has secured $42.8 million in a funding round led by Salesforce Ventures. Accenture (ACN) also participated in the funding round. Vlocity said it intends to use the funding to enhance its delivery of industry-focused cloud and mobile apps.

Cloud Security Vendor Adallom Secures $30m From HP, Rembrandt Venture Partners. Cloud security service provider Adallom has raised $30 million in a Series C funding round led by Rembrandt Venture Partners, with participation from Hewlett-Packard (HPQ) investment group HP Ventures. Adallom currently supports over 13,000 cloud apps and said it will use the Series C funding to accelerate its research and development efforts.
Bedrock Data Raises $3 Million in Series A Funding. Boston-based cloud data integration company Bedrock Data has secured $3 million in Series A funding. 406 Ventures led the funding round. In addition, the funding marks Bedrock Data’s official launch after over a year of development, testing and customer on-boarding.
