Friday's Last Word: Concerto Cloud Services CEO Tony DiBenedetto

Tony DiBenedetto leads the strategic direction, development and vision of Concerto Cloud Services. He has 30 years of experience in the technology services industry, with a focus on executive management, business innovation and high-impact growth.

Tony led the development of Concerto Cloud Services and its virtual private cloud infrastructure. Since launching the business in 2011, Concerto has become one of the leading cloud services providers in the country, experiencing more than 100% growth each year.

The recipient of numerous leadership awards, including the Ernst & Young Florida Entrepreneur Of The Year® Award in Technology and induction into the Florida State University College of Business Hall of Fame, Tony has dedicated his entire career to the areas of corporate culture, customer advocacy and servant leadership.

Tony co-founded Tribridge in 1998 and has led the firm through the successful acquisition and integration of several companies, resulting in a compounded annual growth rate of over 40 percent each year. Under his guidance, Tribridge has grown from a start-up company to one of the leading technology services providers in the United States.

A lifetime entrepreneur, Tony earned partnership at Arthur Andersen before founding Tribridge. He also owned and operated several business ventures in retail, business services and healthcare. Tony mentors numerous entrepreneurs and serves on the board of directors of two service-based start-up companies.

Tony devotes a great deal of his time to community service. He co-founded the Tampa Bay Technology Forum (TBTF) and was the first executive director of the former TBTF Foundation, now TechStart, which helps at-risk and disadvantaged kids pursue careers in science, technology, engineering and math through educational programs and scholarships.

Tony is a columnist for INC.com, authors a blog with more than 10,000 followers and serves as a frequent guest speaker for businesses, organizations and universities on topics ranging from entrepreneurship and corporate growth to servant leadership and community involvement. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management Information Systems from Florida State University.

What are your plans for Concerto in 2016?

Concerto will continue to focus our strategy across two key areas: technology innovation and partner enablement. Four years since launching our virtual private cloud, we have experienced more than 100% year-over-year revenue growth. We anticipate accelerating that momentum by giving our customers and partners more choices for deployment and infrastructure management.

Our hybrid cloud offering will be further enhanced with deeper integrations and full automation across Microsoft Azure, Office365, Amazon and other major platforms. We also look forward to expanding relationships with Cisco and other big technology players to add increased depth and functionality to our environment.

In 2015 we tripled the size of our Concerto Partner Network, and our goal for 2016 is even more aggressive. We are excited about the number and quality of VARs, ISVs and MSPs who are asking us to help them pave a comprehensive path to cloud solutions. Based on partner feedback, we will develop additional micro-vertical solutions to meet their customers’ needs. We focus foremost on relationship building and understanding the partner’s business and current challenges. We consider cloud enablement a journey, and we are dedicated to helping them every step of the way in 2016 and beyond.
