Friday's Last Word: Kurt Mackey CEO of Compose

Kurt Mackey is the CEO of Compose. Prior to joining Compose (formerly, MongoHQ), Mackey was the technical director for Ars Technica at Conde Nast, and before that, he was the director of research and development at ServerCentral. He received his education from the University of Oklahoma, Norman Campus.

What are your plans for Compose.io in 2016?

Compose currently supports seven databases and hopes to eventually double that number. A big focus this year is Compose Enterprise, a new option that allows customers to make use of Compose within their own cloud clusters. We hope to make Compose Enterprise available not only on Amazon Web Services and IBM Cloud, but on additional platforms and in more data centers.
