Why should a little rain get in the way of a good golf game? It sure didn’t stop Tuesday’s Telarus golf tournament in usually sunny Phoenix.

The Telarus golf tournament took place at Camelback Golf Club in Paradise Valley, Arizona. The event drew about 100 golfers.

Shane Speakman is Telarus’ vice president of UCaaS.

“Telarus hosts premier golf events and other types of networking gatherings around the country every month,” he said. “So this is definitely one of the most premier golf tournaments in the technology space here in Arizona.”

Telarus partners with some of the most sophisticated and well-known IT consultants in the Phoenix area and “we’re excited to bring them out to such a nice venue,” Speakman said.

“We’re accompanied by some of the top technology firms as suppliers in this space, everything ranging from cloud services providers (CSPs) to some of the largest internet providers in the country,” he said.

Back to Doing Business Face to Face

These Telarus events prove “people still like doing business with people,” Speakman said.

“And irrespective of some of the constraints that we’ve been under, it’s certainly shown that with the amount of excitement that we’ve seen for this event, people are ready to get back to doing business face to face,” he said. “The goal is really to show what partnerships provide, especially when you have a synergistic relationship that revolves around a common goal of work, sales, but just as important, basic relationships. So this event is really dedicated to building those relationships and then providing support for these consultants long term.”
