This week we had a chat with Dean Darwin, the new Chief Revenue Officer at K2 Software. Although he is not a channel chief in title, Darwin oversees K2's global channel business and is currently developing the company's latest channel partner program, called K2 Ascend, which is scheduled to launch later this year.

Prior to joining K2 Software last month, Darwin served as the channel chief of F5 Networks for eight years, helping to drive 97 percent of the company's revenue through indirect sales. He has also held roles at NetApp and Cisco during his career in the IT industry.
