This week in Meet the Chiefs we chatted with Jeffrey Pearl, vice president of Channel Acceleration at BroadSoft (BSFT), a cloud unified communications software developer. Among his duties as channel chief, Pearl is tasked with helping resellers to create new revenue opportunities and launch the company’s hosted VoIP, SIP Trunking and UC services channel efforts.

Prior to his time as channel chief, Pearl co-founded a cloud-based IP communications provider called IP5280 Communications, which was acquired by MegaPath in 2012. During his 25-year career in the telecom industry, he also co-founded LineSider Communications and worked for a number of large industry players, including Qwest Communications and Worldcom.
