Tigera added containerization and Kubernetes support to its Calico open-source observability and security product. Microsoft worked with Tigera to integrate the tool with Azure and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). Calico lets customers secure communications between containers and third-party APIs using zero trust security principles. The observability component, designed for multicluster, multicloud and hybrid environments, is designed to detect threats and maintain continuous compliance.
