Friday's Last Word: CloudBees CEO Sacha Labourey — Who is he?

CloudBees CEO Sacha Labourey in April 2010 founded the Woburn, Massachusetts-based PaaS provider focused on accelerating the development and deployment of mobile and web apps. At the time, he believed middleware would play a crucial role in the shift to public cloud.

Before CloudBees, Labourey worked for Red Hat as co-general manager of the company's middleware division until 2009. Red Hat's acquisition of JBoss in 2006 landed him a job with the company, where he played a role in integrating and productizing JBoss software with Red Hat offerings. He worked under JBoss from 2003-2006.
