Friday's Last Word: RackWare CEO Sash Sunkara — Who is she?

RackWare CEO Sash Sunkara co-founded the Santa Clara, California-based managed computing software company back in 2009. In addition to being the company's current CEO, she's also a member of its board of directors.

Before founding RackWare, Sunkara was vice president of marketing for QLogic’s Network Solutions Division with responsibility for the switch product lines. She also co-founded 3Leaf Systems, a venture-backed server virtualization company where her role as chief business officer spanned marketing, business development, support, and operations. Prior to that, Sunkara served as vice president of program management at Brocade Communications.

What does she have planned for the rest of the 2014?

What's Sunkara's strategy for the year of the year? "Scale, scale, scale," she said. "We are scaling sales and marketing, as well as building out an additional infrastructure to handle the increasing demand we are getting from customers for our cloud management technology."
