Snowflake Gives Partner Matillion a Financial Infusion

Matillion, an enterprise cloud data integration provider, has landed an investment from the venture capital arm of Snowflake.

Matillion and Snowflake did not disclose the amount.

In return for the investment, Matillion now becomes a Snowflake data integration partner, meaning it will use Snowflake’s native application framework. That will make Matillion’s connectors directly available within Snowflake.

Snowflake delivers a cloud-agnostic platform that enables data processing, analytics and storage. Matillion built its technology specifically for the Snowflake Data Cloud. Snowflake has a significant presence on the AWS Marketplace.
