Security merger

#18: Synopsys Buying WhiteHat Security

Synopsys announced it is snapping up WhiteHat Security, which rebranded last year to NTT Application Security, for a cool $330 million. NTT only bought WhiteHat three years ago.

Synopsys said adding WhiteHat to its portfolio expands its application security SaaS capabilities.
