Synnex-Tech Data
Undoubtedly, the $7.2 billion mega merger between Tech Data and Synnex caught the eyes of the channel more than any other story.
The deal expands Synnex’s global reach and improves Tech Data’s relationships with IT titans HP and Lenovo. More importantly, the acquisition creates a $57 billion company that looks to be larger than rival Ingram Micro.
Ingram responded positively to the news, as did many partners. However, MSPs offered a wide variety of reactions, from excited to concerned.
