Telarus, Everbridge Expand Relationship Into U.K., Australia, New Zealand

COVID-19 is raising demand for CEM solutions.

Telarus partners in three more countries can sell Everbridge‘s critical event management (CEM) platform.

The two companies on Tuesday announced an expanded relationship that covers the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand. Everbridge and Telarus announced a partnership back in May, but that agreement only covered North America.

Telarus vice president of marketing Amy Bailey said coronavirus has made the critical event management market more attractive.

“We believe Everbridge can play a vital role in protecting their people, supply chains, operations, and brands — especially for those companies seeking an automated approach to mitigating the impact of the pandemic on their business, and facilitating a safer return to work and other public places,” Bailey said.

The 4,000-some agents that work with Telarus can help businesses mitigate natural disasters, acts of violence and other consequential events. For example, the vendor rolled out an offer that uses COVID-19 data.

The partnership expansion comes at a “crucial time,” according to Jasmina Muller, Everbridge’s vice president of channel partnerships. Muller said more and more businesses are seeing why CEM solutions add value.

“… We uniquely offer Telarus partners the solutions their end users need to protect people and keep their operations running faster,” Muller said. “We built Everbridge for times like these.”

Muller, who left 8×8 to join Everbridge earlier this year, said in a Q&A that that the company would expand its agent channel footprint.

Telarus has expanded its global presence over the years. The Utah-based master agent established a brand in Australia and New Zealand in 2018 and announced a regional vice president in Canada last year.

Everbridge is based in Massachusetts, but four of its 25 locations are in New Zealand, Australia and the U.K. The Australian and New Zealand governments have chosen Everbridge’s public warning system for their emergency alerts. The vendor appeared on our podcast back in May.
