Lumen21 Debuts Managed Services Program

Tech firm Lumen21 on Thursday announced a Managed Services Program consisting of both managed IT and managed security services, with a goal of helping resellers to attract new clients, revenue and profits by eliminating the need to invest in a cost-prohibitive program of their own.

Lumen21 says its program makes it easy for resellers to get started with managed and security services without investing in people, process and technology. The addition of NOC (Network Operations Center) and/or SOC (Security Operations Center) services to a reseller’s line card opens new opportunities and protects their installed base from competitors, the company said.

For resellers with a current managed-services offering or for small MSPs, Lumen21 says the addition of its SOC presents increased opportunity to further protect their existing customer bases with security services.

“Our managed services program helps resellers build stronger client relationships and improve customer service without the risk,” said Carol Kinney, VP of sales at Lumen 21. “Our program grows with the reseller as they invest in their own managed-services practice.”

There are three tiers to the program.

“We can start with a Referral’ relationship, where we do everything, and grow into a ‘Resell’ or ‘Rebrand’ relationship where the reseller would take more ownership of the sales and marketing process,” Kinney added.

Lumen21 offers training, demonstrations, configurations, quotes and order processing for all its customers regardless of the partnering model they choose.  Some models also include lead-generation and lead-distribution services.
