Effortless’ Sonya Meline

Sonya Meline has transitioned from channel manager to sales and marketing VP. She initially connected with Las Vegas-based Effortless from her experiences as a client — as an IT director for several midsize health-care companies.

“Sonya’s initiative when she was an IT director showed us the kind of leader she is,” said Benjamin Gayheart, the company’s founder. “That’s what got us in the door, and it’s what landed her this role at Effortless.”

Joey Jackson, the company’s newest channel manager, worked in the casino industry, eventually becoming a casino director. He has 20 years of experience in the gaming environment.

Another new channel manager, James Hawkins, began his career in the cable industry as an installer and then moved up to account executive. His most recent experience was as vice president of sales for Voko Communications, and prior to that as a channel manager for Broadvoice Communications and Birch Communications.

Also new is Avarra Gordon, who will coordinate marketing and assist in support of the sales team at Effortless. Previously, she worked as a brand ambassador, and served on the trade show and marketing management team of a national eCommerce site that has clients such as Google, Nike and RockStar.

“Effortless continues to push business standards,” Gordon said. “(They have) great understanding of each client’s needs and strive to be ahead of them as they grow and transform.”
