Twistlock, the container security provider, just launched a partner program for consultants and resellers.

The Portland, Oregon-based vendor is inviting partners to sell its “cloud native” cybersecurity solutions to customers. The large program also includes technology partners.

“Our customers aren’t just modernizing their security; they’re reinventing the way they build, ship and run applications,” said John Leon, Twistlock’s vice president of business development and strategic alliances. “By uniting in the Twistlock Advantage Program, Twistlock and our partners are able to collectively provide a better customer experience at every stage of the application life cycle with innovative technology and consulting solutions.”

The vendor is making training materials available to partners, as well as APIs and joint marketing opportunities. Read Twistlock’s list of program benefits and how they apply to distributors, resellers, consultants and technology partners, respectively. The company states that its partners will help give their customers security assistance “at every stage of the DevSecOps workflow.”

Twistlock started in 2015 and says it has raised more than $30 million. The company has used numerous technology partnerships to its benefit since its inception.

Pivotal, which provides a cloud-native platform for applications, is a launch partner for the Twistlock Advantage Program.

“Twistlock and Pivotal intend to work together to help our mutual customers add next-generation security elements into their tool chains, to protect containers and applications running on the platform,” said Nima Badiey, head of business development for the Pivotal Cloud Foundry.

Another partner is JFrog, which provides universal artifact management to improve the DevOps process. Kit Merker, JFrog’s vice president of business development, says Twistlock integrates its products with the JFrog Artifactory.

“One of the most critical quality signals for any serious software team is the ability to identify and measure vulnerabilities, security threats and compliance concerns in a repeatable manner, and the ability to track all metadata between builds,” Merker said. “Twistlock is enabling our mutual customers to deliver software with greater confidence and repeatability.”
