Alert Logic‘s Threat Manager and Log Manager, the security-as-a-service provider’s intrusion detection system (IDS) and log management tools, are now certified VMware (VMW) Ready for vCloud Air. The company unveiled its new status and ability to use its products with vCloud Air at VMworld this week.

VMware Ready status indicates that a product has undergone technical validation within the specific VMware product or environment—in this case, vCloud Air. What this means for Alert Logic is the ability to brand its two products with the VMware Ready certification, which shows customers that it should work seamlessly with vCloud Air.

“Built on the trusted VMWare vSphere foundation, vCloud Air enables users to seamlessly move data and applications across private and public cloud environments, without having to learn a new set of tools,” said Rohit Gupta, vice president of Business Development at Alert Logic, in a prepared statement. “With Alert Logic’s IDS and log management capabilities, users will have confidence that their environments are secure with true security-as-a-service—all day, every day, no matter where their workloads reside.”

Alert Logic has been building out its support of various cloud environments. Earlier this month, the vendor launched both Threat Manager and Log Manager on the Google Cloud. Earlier this year, Alert Logic released end-to-end security solutions for Azure and released Log Manager on the Microsoft public cloud. But Alert Logic has the longest history with Amazon Web Services. Its cloud security services have launched on Amazon, including on AWS GovCloud, giving it access to the growing government cloud sector.

And now it’s vCloud Air-certified.

“Alert Logic is one of the first partners to complete certification and achieve this status. Alert Logic Threat Manager and Alert Logic Log Manager qualify for the VMware Ready – vCloud Air logo, signifying to customers that they work seamlessly within VMware vCloud Air, and can be deployed in production with confidence,” said Sanjay Katyal, vice president of Global Strategic Alliances and OEMs at VMware, in a prepared statement.
