CHANNEL PARTNERS New Edge Networks (Booth #4024), the managed services business communications unit of EarthLink Inc., announced at the Channel Partners Conference & Expo that SimpleSignal Inc., a hosted PBX and Unified Communications service provider for small and midsized businesses, has established a direct connection to the New Edge AX ecosystem of business applications.

SimpleSignals hosted VoIP platform is now directly connected to the New Edge nationwide MPLS network. By offering its services through New Edge AX, New Edge says SimpleSignal is extending to its customers the Quality of Service (QoS) inherent in the New Edge Network with the ability to run business-critical applications over a private and secure network environment.

The New Edge network supports end-to-end traffic prioritization and predictable application performance which will further enhance SimpleSignals unique solutions which integrate advanced VoIP calling features with popular business applications, including CRM and outlook applications, the company said.
