CNSG Appoints Windstream, Green Cloud Vet New Sales Engineering Director

Converged Network Services Group (CNSG) has hired David Hopper as its new director of sales engineering.

CNSG's Dave HopperHopper will lead the CNSG sales engineering team in providing support for every aspect of the discovery, design and delivery of the overall service package for customers. His channel background includes selling cloud, which includes expertise in SD-WAN, cloud and UCaaS offerings.

Hopper previously was director of sales at Green Cloud Technologies, where he developed strategic relationships with channel partners to increase profitability by growing recurring revenue streams. Prior to Green Cloud, Hopper was customer sales and solutions engineer for Windstream.

“Dave brings a wealth of knowledge and experience enabling partners to succeed in selling cloud, hosted voice and SD-WAN solutions,” said Randy Friedberg, CNSG’s vice president of business development. “He also possesses the unique ability to maintain that perfect balance between engineering and sales. Dave can help design complex cloud applications with the most technical IT director and then turn around and be able to articulate those solutions to a less technical partner or end user.
