The AT&T Alliance Channel has raised Telarus, Saturn Wireless and three other partners to its platinum elite level.

The indirect sales program recognized 58 partners in five tiers based on 2019 fiscal performance. BCDR Solutions, Nordicom Technologies, Presto Tech Solutions and Spearhead Networks maintained their spot at the front of the pack, but several newcomers joined them.

Utah-based master agent Telarus jumped from silver in 2019 to platinum elite. Several prominent master agents made the Solution Provider Champions list, including TBI and Intelisys (platinum), Telecom Consulting Group (gold), AppSmart and BridgePointe Technologies (silver) and PlanetOne Communications and Sandler Partners (bronze).

The Alliance Channel added the platinum elite category last year.

Kevin Leonard, AT&T Business’ vice president of alternate channels, thanked the honorees in a blog. He listed the organization’s upgraded partner portal, its initiative to prepare partners for 5G and the launch of its SD-WAN Now service as key 2019 highlights.

The organization also placed its subagent and master agent partners in the charge of separate sales support teams to accommodate their unique business models. Stacey Marx, AT&T Partner Solutions’ senior vice president and channel chief, explained the other components of the realignment in an interview with Channel Partners.

“All these enhancements were made because we continue to put our solution providers at the center of everything we do,” Leonard said. “We couldn’t be successful without our partners and collectively we continue to accomplish great things.”
