There’s another marketplace making its debut. MSP Unitas Global on Wednesday unveiled its Unitas Nexus Marketplace, an automated connectivity platform that connects enterprise edge locations to the cloud.

Unitas Nexus is a design and purchasing platform. It provides what the company says is “Expedia-like visibility” into available global network connectivity options. Its single, streamlined view aims to simplify and automate the buying experience, based on each enterprise’s network requirements.

“Analyzing price and performance requirements in real-time makes Unitas Nexus Marketplace one of the most advanced go-to-market platforms for MSPs, hyperscale cloud providers and data center operators in the global network market,” she said. “[The marketplace] platform enables partners to easily design, price and order IP and Ethernet services connecting over 30 million edge locations in 85 countries to distributed applications across any cloud, hybrid-cloud, multicloud and private cloud destination.”

Unitas Nexus provides automation and visibility across Unitas Reach software-defined network (SDN) and all interconnected networks.

There are thousands of providers globally, Stanhope said. It has long been a challenge to find an easy method to design and buy network connectivity.

Here’s our most recent list of new products and services that agents, VARs, MSPs and other partners offer.

“Organizations have been forced to contend with tedious, highly manual and fragmented processes,” she said. “Unitas Nexus solves that challenge for our enterprise customers and partners.”

Proprietary Knowledge Base

The connectivity platform leverages a proprietary knowledge base. It automates service availability and pricing from more than 550 access and SDN networks to millions of cloud and edge locations. That includes 900 carrier-neutral data centers.

Unitas Global’s proprietary algorithms analyze millions of data inputs factoring in the needs of each enterprise. The algorithms then recommend an optimal design.

“By partnering with Unitas Global, providers benefit from visibility and control of services for a better customer experience, global network reach to expand addressable market, and intelligent automated tools to further differentiate their growing data center or cloud offering in the market,” Stanhope said.
