Synnex (SNX) will be kicking off its 2013 Synnex National Conference this week in Greenville, S.C., welcoming VARs to a week filled with educational sessions, networking opportunities and vendor breakout sessions. And we’ll be there to cover the action.

Attending VARs can expect to hear from Synnex leaders including Bob Stegner, vice president of Marketing, and CEO Kevin Murai, as well as a host of other leaders from vendors including Lenovo, HP (HPQ), Red Hat (RHT), Microsoft (MSFT) and Intel (INTC).

But before we learn Synnex’s plan for the last quarter of 2013 and the upcoming year, let’s take a look at what the company has achieved over the past few months, including recent partnerships.

Distributor Synnex signed on as a Comcast Business master agent to offer the carrier’s Ethernet, Internet, voice, cloud and TV solutions through its MobilitySolv group to IT channel partners. Synnex is the first IT distributor to gain Comcast’s master agent status.

Synnex: DataCore Software Launches Storage Appliance

Synnex, Verizon Partner on Business Mobility, BYOD Solutions

Synnex and Verizon’s (VZ) Enterprise Solutions unit have partnered on a distribution agreement that adds the carrier’s networks, advanced communications, cloud, applications, mobility and machine-to-machine offerings to the distributor’s MobilitySolv mobile portfolio.

According to Synnex, the conference will hold more than 1,600 attendees, patiently waiting to hear more about Synnex’s efforts. VARs can expect Synnex to review how its recent moves in the channel can help partners gain an edge and rise above their competitors.

Be on the watch for trends revolving around consumerization of IT, evolution of mobility and building partnerships—trends Synnex believes will continue to enhance the success rate of VARs in the channel, strengthening both Synnex and its partners.
