Synnex, Motorola Solutions Partner on Wireless, Network Solutions

Synnex (SNX) President and CEO Kevin Murai noted the addition of wireless and network solutions from Motorola Solutions Inc. (MSI) to Synnex’s MobilitySolv offering during his keynote session at the 2013 Synnex National Conference.

Through this agreement, Synnex MobilitySolv now provides Motorola’s wireless connectivity products, including WLAN, WLAN mesh networks, enterprise voice and AirDefense.

The company said the partnership will drive programs, tools and combined solutions to assist solution providers with building services-led business models to mobilize the enterprise, midmarket and small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) with end-to-end mobility.

Synnex said it will still offer Psion, a manufacturer of mobile handheld computers for commercial and industrial applications, but it will now be part of Motorola Solutions.

Synnex also partnered with Verizon’s (VZ) Enterprise Solutions back in June to add the carrier’s networks, advanced communications, cloud, applications, mobility and machine-to-machine offerings to the distributor’s MobilitySolv mobile portfolio.
