A new McAfee-Ingram Micro agreement will give partners access to McAfee products and services across Ingram Micro’s global distribution network.

McAfee and Ingram Micro have expanded their worldwide relationship that builds on the transformation of the McAfee channel program. As a result, channel partners will benefit from the expanded relationship in the following ways:

  • McAfee and Ingram Micro will be able to more effectively engage with and strengthen global channel partner relationships.

  • It will now be easier for channel partners to purchase McAfee products and solutions through Ingram Micro.

  • The expanded relationship provides Ingram Micro’s large service organizations with security tools and solutions from McAfee.

  • Partners will have access to McAfee products in Ingram Micro‘s regional Cloud Marketplaces and global Centers of Excellence.

“Our expanded relationship helps partners serve their customers faster and more comprehensively through Ingram’s delivery of professional services for McAfee MVision products,” she said. “In addition, Ingram has invested in partner support services to make assessing and quoting for customer needs fast and effective.”

McAfee launched its SaaS portfolio on the U.S. Ingram Micro Cloud Marketplace in late 2020. It further plans to expand its presence on Ingram Micro’s network of e-commerce platforms throughout 2021.

Both companies say they recognize the opportunity and impact of cloud transformation happening within the channel. McAfee device-to-cloud suites help organizations accelerate cloud adoption. Additionally, Ingram Micro is expanding its services capabilities with McAfee to provide migration services for moving from legacy security technology to McAfee MVision products.

“Together, we are making it easier and more effective to reach, extend and offer McAfee solutions and services,” Curry said. “With our market-leading, comprehensive portfolio and Ingram’s great reach and best-in-class partner support, partners certainly have an opportunity to leverage this for a competitive advantage.”

The companies aligned the joint initiatives and offers to help customers on their journey to the cloud, she said. Cloud migration has accelerated through the pandemic.

McAfee and Ingram Micro plan to continue building on their relationship, Curry said.

“We expect great things with Ingram in 2021 and beyond,” she said.

“We are proud to play an increasingly important role in McAfee’s global channel strategy, and applaud its efforts to increase its channel partner engagement and enablement,” said Scott Zahl, Ingram Micro‘s executive director of global partner enablement. “Together with McAfee, we are providing our mutual channel partners with access to one of the world’s most trusted cybersecurity solution portfolios and award-winning channel programs.”
