Boston-based remote monitoring and management (RMM) software provider Continuum will host its first user conference next week, Continuum Navigate 2014, at the Seaport Boston Hotel from Sept. 21 to 23. The event is intended to help managed service providers (MSPs) and IT resellers maximize their investment in the RMM software provider’s managed services platform.

Continuum CEO Michael George told MSPmentor the conference will provide:

  • Actionable insights into business strategy and economic models, sales and marketing and service delivery optimization

  • Opportunities for peer-to-peer collaboration

  • Tips to help MSPs and IT resellers expand their IT services business

What else should Navigate attendees expect? Here are five things you need to know about the event:

1. Navigate will feature two session tracks

Continuum is offering two session tracks to Navigate attendees:

  • Business — Industry leaders will host workshops designed to help attendees improve their IT services business.

  • Technology — Continuum product and technical experts will lead sessions designed to help attendees get the most out of their Continuum investment.

George said that Navigate also features more than 40 sessions and “an impressive roster of speakers” who will provide tips on a variety of topics.

2. There will be numerous exhibitors on hand

Navigate attendees can learn about new IT services from at least 20 exhibitors that will showcase their technology at the event.

Conference exhibitors include:

  • Autotask

  • CompTIA

  • ConnectWise

  • Intronis

  • LogMeIn

George noted these exhibitors can teach Navigate attendees about new IT solutions and help them better support their small and medium-sized business (SMB) customers.

3. Navigate provides networking opportunities

Expect a full house at Navigate — George said he anticipates approximately 450 people will attend the sold-out event.

4. Attendees can learn about Continuum throughout the conference

An August 2014 Continuum survey showed this RMM software provider’s MSP partners are more efficient and driving more revenue than their non-Continuum counterparts.

George noted the survey revealed more than 75 percent of Continuum’s MSP partners estimated an increase in revenue of up to 25 percent within the next 12 months — far greater than non-Continuum partners.

Continuum partners will share tips about the RMM software provider’s managed services and show Navigate attendees how Continuum could help them boost their profits, according to George.

“[Our] MSP partners are the most successful in the industry,” George added. “If you aren’t partnering with Continuum to support your SMB clients, we invite you to see the success of our partners at Navigate 2014.”

5. Will Continuum surprise attendees?

George declined to comment about any possible Continuum announcements at the event, but he said there could be a few surprises in store for attendees.

“We want any news we are announcing at Navigate 2014 to be a surprise,” George said. “Stay tuned!”
