Cisco Systems (NASDAQ:CSCO) social media veteran Alex Krasne has joined Channel Maven Consulting, which helps vendors to strengthen their partner programs.

Krasne is the rare content expert with journalism, social media and Fortune 100 business experience. Her work appeared in traditional web and print outlets (PC World, Wired, CNN, etc.) and across vendor-produced websites. Krasne has been a presenter and educator at Cisco Partner Velocity, an annual event that trains partners on marketing and social media strategies.

Channel Maven Consulting was founded by President Heather K. Margolis in 2009. Margolis previously led various channel programs at EMC, EqualLogic and Dell. Her team helps vendors to analyze their current channel programs, define goals and drive more effective partner relationships.
