CompTIA is all set to kick off its ChannelCon this week in Phoenix, Arizona at the well-known JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge Resort and Spa. If you haven’t been following any of CompTIA’s updates this year, it might be worth your time to scan through our list of coverage.

So far, CompTIA has launched a new online “confidence-based learning” tool; acquired another IT organization; introduced new training courses and certfications; and prepared for this year’s ChannelCon. But there’s still more to come.

CompTIA ChannelCon 2014 Preview: What MSPs Can Expect. If you’re not sure exactly what CompTIA might have in store for this year’s ChannelCon, don’t worry. We found out all the details from a well-known executive from the organization. Here something new: Look for several sessions covering new business opportunities for channel partners.

CompTIA: Here’s How MSPs Can Quickly Master Information. Need a way to quickly master information? CompTIA in June introduced a new online “confidence-based learning” tool. It’s designed to assist individuals with understanding and retaining information more effectively.

CompTIA Acquires TechAmerica: What Should Partners Expect?. CompTIA in May acquired TechAmerica to bring services, advocacy, education and networking under a single information technology and communications (ICT) brand, the organization said. Here are the details.

CompTIA Report: IT Executives Optimistic About Industry Outlook. What does the hiring pool look like to IT executives?
