Channel Partner Program Roundup: snom, Dell, ZyXEL

Howdy, and welcome once again to our weekly Channel Partner Program Roundup, where we aim to give you the latest in partner program news without the fluff. This week we’ve got news from snom technology, Dell and ZyXEL, so strap on your stirrups, hold on to your saddle and let’s ride.

snom technology: The company that doesn’t believe in capital letters has rolled out an e-training program for its partners to provide end-to-end support of snom’s ONE IP PBX solutions. The class is available free to registered snom VARs from North and South America, Australia and New Zealand interested in gaining certification for the company’s software-based snom ONE IP PBX and hardware-based snom ONE plus IP PBX appliance. Interested partners can register at onlinetraining.snom.com.

Dell: Dell has awarded Consuro Managed Technology, a Texas-based managed services company, “Premier” status in the Dell PartnerDirect Program, the highest status available to Dell partners. To become a Premier partner, Consuro was required to “complete numerous training programs, fulfill customer service standards and meet aggressive sales thresholds,” according to press release announcing the honor.

“When Dell changed its Partner Program in 2011 adding the Premier level, Consuro dedicated itself to obtaining this elite status,” said Ben Tiblets, Consuro’s president, in the release. “Premier is Dell’s ultimate emblem of product and support competency, excellence, and expertise. We knew this recognition meant that Consuro would be able to provide unparalleled service, value and support to our clients.”

Congratulations, Consuro.

ZyXEL: The company with an affinity for capital letters has launched a trade-in program for SonicWALL solution providers who switch to ZyXEL. According to the company, participating partners also will be inducted into ZyXEL’s Partner Program at the top Diamond level, gaining maximum partner benefits including access to ZyXEL’s beta test program, qualified sales leads, incremental product discounts at distribution, premier placement on ZyXEL’s partner locator and a plethora of other benefits.

Eligible SonicWALL models include: TZ100, TZ100 Wireless, TZ200, TZ210, NSA2400, NSA3500 and NSA4500.

The trade-in program runs through July 31, 2012. Interested partners can e-mail ZyXEL for more information.
