BlueLock, Shavlik Partner at MSPAlliance Managed Services Summit

BlueLock Managed Security ServicesLater this week at the MSPAlliance’s Managed Services Summit in Chicago, BlueLock and Shavlik Technologies are expected to describe a new managed security partnership involving cloud computing. Here’s some preliminary information about the relationship.

Shavlik specializes in automated security and compliance solutions. BlueLock positions itself as a managed service provider that offers so-called Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) with Virtual Cloud Computing expertise. That’s a lot of IT jargon, but the relationship offers some clear benefits.

According to a press release:

“BlueLock will use the Shavlik Security Suite to automatically generate and post PCI reports for customers … BlueLock clients can log on to their client portal and review reports on current security and compliance posture at any time.”

PCI Compliance has generated considerable buzz across the MSP industry this year. BlueLock and Shavlik are expected to discuss their relationship Sept. 25 at the MSPAlliance’s Managed Services Summit in Chicago.
