Agilitas has started to roll out AssureMeNow to its current channel partners.

Agilitas IT Solutions, the global channel services provider, has launched a new channel service online pricing tool for hardware maintenance services.

The AssureMeNow portal supports Agilita’s InventoryAssure services product. The company provides channel partners with access to a multivendor workplace, server, storage and networking product portfolio, delivering maintenance services and hardware sales.

Agilitas works with resellers, VARs and MSPs in more than 60 countries globally.

Shaun Lynn, Agilitas’ CEO, tells us his company developed the AssureMeNow portal in order to give partners the autonomy to self-quote so they can respond more quickly to their customers’ requests.

“This gives partners a competitive advantage, allowing them to achieve a higher renewal rate, and be stickier to their end customers,” he said. “This is part of our ongoing transformation here at Agilitas — a strategy to drive automation within our business, and create more of a ‘self-serve’ model.”

The AssureMeNow portal provides a step-by-step quote tool that allows partners to select what type of service they are looking for, sorting by technology type, vendor type, product type, service level, engineering and parts options, as well as the duration of their contracts. Once a partner has selected all preferences and chosen its specific service, all selected contracted products are placed into a shopping basket, to enable the ordering process to be simple and seamless, according to the company.

“We are always looking for how we can keep our services as relevant as possible to our channel partners — both existing and prospective,” Lynn said. “With this in mind, we take notice of the pain points and challenges that our partners come up against, and AssureMeNow was designed specifically with these challenges in mind, to make their lives that bit simpler and easier. AssureMeNow will help make it quicker and easier for partners to create quotes, meaning they can focus on the more strategic aspects of their relationships with end-user customers.”

The output from the tool is in PDF form, which also can include the partner’s logo and branding. The tool also allows partners to apply a percentage uplift, meaning partners can use the tool to quote their end-user customers directly. Partners’ previous quotes will be saved on users’ personal dashboards, ensuring they can access any previous ones if and when needed.

Agilitas has started to roll out AssureMeNow to its current channel partners.

“Since the launch of … AssureMeNow, our partners have been able to reduce the turnaround time on quotes, from hours and sometimes days, to mere minutes,” Lynn said. “As a result, quote conversion rates across their new prospects have increased by 20% in the first month alone, as, too, have contract renewal rates on existing accounts. What this means to our partners is that they have become much more ingrained in their customers’ businesses, as they are now able to upsell services to their existing product sales, delivering much more value to the end user.

“It’s still early days, but we are seeing already channel partners starting to post increased operating profits as a result of winning more services contracts through AssureMeNow. Not only this, but they also should see an increase in both their future order book and cash at bank as they attach more multiyear contracts through the portal.”
