Professional services automation (PSA) and remote monitoring and management (RMM) tools are the bedrock of any managed service provider’s business. Pulseway on Wednesday announced it’s doing its part with Automation Workflows.

Businesses these days need to be more efficient than ever. In the MSP world, this of course applies to supporting employees and customers remotely and continuously.

Pulseway’s Automation Workflows is a new feature that auto-remediates issues on a user’s behalf and prevents potential downtime and disasters. The tool essentially enables employees to do more by doing less while working remotely.

“The automation workflows feature has been one of the most requested features from our customers,” said Marius Mihalec, founder and CEO of Pulseway. “This vital feature enables our customers to put the remediation of many common IT issues on autopilot. This frees up their time for what is truly important. Pulseway’s partners can now build fully customizable workflows with unlimited routes, meaning there is no task that we can’t fix.”

The new automation feature enables the platform to auto-respond to issues and eliminate potential downtime or escalations. Built directly into the Pulseway RMM automation module, it’s available to all Pulseway Team customers at no extra cost. Each workflow is fully customizable per the customer’s wants and needs. This includes high CPU, system status, user login, low disk space and more. Some of the automation workflows’ available actions include running a script or a task, starting/stopping a service, creating an alert, changing notification priority, adding and removing tags and kill processes.

Specifically, the new automation workflows feature enables Pulseway’s customers to:

  • Build fully customizable workflows thanks to the intuitive workflow builder.

  • Use notifications as workflow triggers.

  • Start the workflow execution automatically when an alert is triggered.

  • See real-time updates of the execution steps the workflow is taking.

  • Get the status and the execution time of previously performed workflows.
