Professional services automation (PSA) software provider Tigerpaw Software Inc. has updated its solution with new features to assist managed services providers (MSPs) with recurring contracts. The company has also issued an update to its mobile platform.

Tigerpaw Business Suite 13 features automatic billing. Recurring contract invoices can be automatically created and emailed to customers, and Tigerpaw can process the payment via credit card or electronic payment. With this release, this particular feature has been extended to Tigerpaw’s other contract types such as units, meter clicks and hourly contracts.

The company said it released Tigerpaw Mobile 2.0 to enhance the user experience through multiple upgrades, including time and work prompts, multiple time logs for a ticket, alternate dates and times, and standard settings save time.

Tigerpaw President and CEO James Foxall said in his prepared statement that the company focused more on creating efficiencies and time savings for customers through these new solutions.

“Whether through automated billing and payment processing for recurring contracts, or by enabling techs to accomplish more in the field on multiple devices, we’ve created more ways for customers to experience significant cost savings and increased productivity,” he said.

Tigerpaw Business Suite 13 is now available to all Tigerpaw Customer Assurance (TCA) customers. Tigerpaw Mobile 2.0 is available to all current mobile subscribers.

What has Tigerpaw’s competition been up to?

Autotask CEO Mark Cattini spoke at the Autotask Community Live back in June 2013 to reveal how the company’s PSA platform encompasses big data, cloud, mobile and social for MSPs.

Connectwise, another Tigerpaw rival, has indicated to MSPmentor that it will be making more acquisitions, strategic investments or business deals in the near future. We’ll keep you updated on any further news coming out of the Connectwise camp.
