Anturis has released a new version of its IT monitoring and troubleshooting solution.

The company said the new release, Anturis version 2.0, provides enterprise-grade IT monitoring and troubleshooting for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) and web hosts.

Anturis 2.0 includes Java Virtual Machine (JVM) monitoring, which is designed to help users optimize their Java applications.

“With Anturis’ JVM monitoring, you can monitor all your Java applications in one web console,” Anturis Marketing Director Ilya Sidorov wrote in a blog post. “You can also set up warning and error thresholds for every parameter of each Java application running in the JVM. Anturis provides alerts and notifications to enable system administrators to take corrective actions and improve Java Application performance.”

Anturis has added Parallels Plesk Uptime Monitor, a feature that periodically checks whether servers can be reached and are functioning properly, to the new version of its IT monitoring and troubleshooting solution as well.

“You can start basic monitoring of your servers in the Parallels Plesk Panel – even if you don’t have an Anturis account,” Sidorov noted.

Other Anturis 2.0 features include:

  • Apache monitoring

  • New dashboards

  • Printer monitoring

Sergey Nevstruev, Anturis’ CEO, said his company is rapidly expanding, and the new release is another step in the right direction.

“The new Anturis 2.0 with JVM monitoring and Parallels Plesk Uptime is one more major step forward for Anturis and our growing slate of satisfied customers worldwide,” Nevstruev said in a prepared statement.

A 30-day free trial of Anturis’ cloud-based monitoring service is available here.
