LogMeIn Rescue Meets Apple iPad in the Workplace
LogMeIn Inc. is taking yet another step to further support Apple iPad tablet computers in the workplace. Here’s the scoop.
As we’ve noted previously, LogMeIn already offers one of the most popular business applications on the iPad. LogMeIn Rescue already supports other mobile platforms, including Symbian, BlackBerry, Microsoft Windows Mobile, and the Apple iPhone. But LogMeIn says the addition of iPad support speaks to their vision for remote administration for all “smart” devices.
“As more and more types of internet-enabled devices enter the market, IT policies, skills and tools will have to evolve accordingly,” said Lee Weiner, director of support products at LogMeIn, in a prepared statement.
