LabTech Software today announced an integration with Thycotic‘s Secret Server software that enables IT professionals to reference shared credentials from a single information source on the LabTech platform.

The Tampa, Florida-based remote monitoring and management (RMM) platform provider said the Secret Server integration streamlines connectivity to shared credentials, helping IT professionals become more productive.

“Security is at the forefront of everything we do at LabTech,” LabTech Software CEO Matt Nachtrab said in a prepared statement. “By expanding our offering to include a password management solution, we give LabTech partners the ability to strengthen their security posture and diminish exposure to risk.”

Secret Server is an enterprise password management software that is designed to help IT administrators “store, distribute, change and audit in a secure environment,” according to Thycotic.

Jonathan Cogley, Thycotic’s CEO, said he believes the LabTech Software-Secret Server integration can help IT professionals minimize security risks.

“Organizations are facing mounting security threats on a daily basis, as evidenced by the constant headlines of yet another company data breach,” he said. “By combining the remote monitoring features of LabTech with Secret Server’s privileged account management capabilities, IT administrators can now secure, store, distribute, monitor and audit user credentials through a single interface.”
