JAMF Software Global Alliances & Channel Senior Product Manager Blaine Mattson says all of the company's releases have an impact on the channel.

JAMF Software believes the latest update to its platform is the answer to IT professionals managing the increase in number of mobile devices in the workplace.

The Minneapolis, Minnesota-based device management company on Tuesday said the newest release of Casper Suite finds the middle ground between providing IT with a way to secure employee-owned mobile devices and respecting employee privacy.

JAMF Software Global Alliances & Channel Senior Product Manager Blaine Mattson told MSPmentor that IT admins are dealing with a reactionary effort to handling bring your own device (BYOD) for customers, something the platform addresses.

“JAMF is giving IT professionals a new, simple way to manage BYOD programs, without changing the native experience on the user’s device or invading their privacy, as well as arming employees with the technology and tools that inspire their thinking, and enable them to achieve success,” he said.

The Casper Suite was designed specifically to assist IT professionals with managing and securing iOS and Android devices in the enterprise.

“Of course all new product releases have an impact on our channel,” Mattson said. “First goal is to ensure our global partner network is ready so they can go to market with a solution that addresses some of the most innovative trends and technologies in device management such as BYOD and the increasing adoption of the Apple platform.”

Mattson said the company has plans to redesign its partner portal over the next four months to provide channel partners will an easier way to access enablement tools.

“We have a lot available for our partners globally,” he said. “The number one thing we can do for our partners is to provide the right resource, at the right time, to the right person.”

Just a little over a month ago, JAMF Software released a study on how the number of Apple products in the enterprise has more than doubled in the last three years.

As far as venture funding, the company has raised a total of $30 million to date.
