Fujitsu Taps CA Nimsoft to Power IT-Management-as-a-Service Offering

Fujitsu (FJTSY) has been working to build an end-to-end cloud platform to offer IT services to companies looking to outsource, and now it has added IT Management as a Service (ITMaaS) to its offerings, courtesy of technology from CA Technologies (CA).  Here are the details.

The service provides organizations with IT monitoring and management across both cloud and non-cloud infrastructures, Fujitsu said, and at a lower cost than on-premise based solutions. Built on CA Nimsoft Monitor and CA Nimsoft Service Desk – another customer win for that organization — the service includes built-in ITIL-based best practices and action-based workflows for managing, coordinating and optimizing service delivery. Fujitsu Service Desk as a Service offers rapid configuration and minimizes the need for hand coding.

Fujitsu Monitoring as a Service offers a single unified interface for tracking dynamic resources in the cloud, on-premise or both.

The cloud-based Monitoring and Service Desk solution is being introduced as part of the Fujitsu Data Center Management and Automation portfolio, currently available across Europe, Middle East, Africa and India.
