Remote monitoring and management (RMM) platform provider Continuum has unveiled the Continuum Cloud Console (C3), an infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) platform for managed service providers (MSPs). C3 allows MSPs to monitor their customers’ virtual servers from a single platform by leveraging Continuum’s RMM software and Amazon Web Services-based (AWS) network operations center (NOC).

“With the launch of C3, Continuum is making it possible for MSPs to deliver cloud technology very efficiently to [their] clients and at the client’s pace and readiness, making them relevant in today’s cloud economy and solidifying the future of the channel,” Continuum Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Michael George said in a prepared statement.

Continuum said C3 supports all major versions of Linux and Microsoft (MSFT) Windows and features “pay-as-you-grow” pricing. Dee Zepf, Continuum’s vice president of products and technical services, added C3 could provide MSPs with a competitive advantage over their rivals, especially since more small and medium businesses (SMBs) are transitioning to hybrid clouds.

“SMBs are transitioning to IaaS to take advantage of numerous benefits – flexibility, mobility and a monthly payment model, and Continuum is partnering with MSPs so they can confidently navigate and support their clients,” Zepf said in a prepared statement.

Continuum said C3 delivers the following benefits for MSPs:

  • A recurring revenue stream

  • The ability to create, manage and monitor virtual servers

  • The ability to manage customers’ on-premise and cloud resources from a single pane of glass

Continuum currently monitors 500,000 endpoints globally and anticipates this figure will increase in 2014. George told MSPmentor last September that he expected his company to grow by about 40 percent this year.
